Starting the countdown...
Well, FAU's Summer A semester ends next week, and I don't know whether to be happy or nervous about going home for a month. In two weeks when I finally do go home, it will have been 6 months since I last saw Pensacola. That's a depressing thought, but it kind of forces me to think of southern Florida as my new home, I guess.
When I moved down here two years ago, I decided that the Miami Heat was my new basketball team. Even though Dallas is currently whooping them in the Finals, I know I made the right choice (they're gonna sweep the rest of the series).
My new favorite comic (replacing Qwantz.com's Dinosaur Comics and Penny Arcade's comics) is the creation of the funniest person on earth--Mr. Raizin Bob-Waksberg. While any of my closest friends know that I've been a loyal fan of his Olde English Sketch Comedy for quite some time now, Raizin has outdone himself with this goofy little comic strip Tip Me Over, Pour Me Out.
So, I guess the key to this entry is my pure exhaustion from this past semester, which beat the pants off of me with a new job and an overbooked schedule. I don't plan on working too much when I get to Pensacola. Maybe I'll sell my motorcycle and make some cash. At some point in life I'm going to need a car, so maybe I should look into cheap insurance. It's now noon and I have a crunchy granola bar calling my name and an iron steaming to be used, so I guess I'll call this the end of this entry.
Peace out, homeslizzles fo sho. Much love. Much love.
