In honor of this summer...
In honor of this summer, I've decided to attempt to semi-somewhat-regularly update this blog. Perhaps one day my children can look at this and see what a great man their father was--or it will simply give me yet another outlet through which I can vent! Word up.
I just moved into a smaller room at the HC for the next six weeks. I'm currently RAing--"RAing"--in fact, I'm on duty tonight...err..."duty." It's a funny thing moving back into one of the suite rooms. I never thought I'd have roommates again, which is actually pretty cool; however, as I told Tommy and Diego (my roommates), you're not supposed to move into smaller rooms in your life. It's like a downgrade, which is the opposite of what happens in life. So it's like I'm living in a parallel universe where people do exactly the opposite of what they're supposed to. It's true: I'm typing with my toes right now.
Maybe I should take pictures to document the feat of fitting everything (including a full-sized weight bench) into this itty bitty room.
Today, Diego and I are going to run over to the Burrow, where Tommy is working for the summer, and plug in a DVD player to the one working TV over there to watch a movie.
I think I'll eat lunch first. Speaking of food, it's surprisingly an important part of my day again. Because I have little/no money, I constantly think about how I'm going to afford anything but food this summer. Gas money? Pshhyeahright. I'm getting very good at cooking noodles in a dorm, though. Mac n Cheese is cheap yo. With hot dogs!
I miss Cara, which is kind of weird because I saw her a week ago and I'll see her a week from now. It's really lame that we have to spend this much time apart, though, because I like spending my days with her, and why shouldn't I be able to do what I like? Right?
Lauren just called. She's waiting for Dr. Strain, and wanted to know if I could play frisbee while she waits on campus. So I'm going now. Adios.
