Back in black

Four nights ago, I read online when I searched for "road trip tips" that when you drive long distances you should wear light clothing. Well, I read that as light--as in "lightly-colored, ie. gray or white." It wasn't until I was packing for my return to Jupiter that this could also be interpreted as light--as in "lightweight." I wore black when I drove.

Today Diego and Tommy were watching MTV's Made while I listened to Opie and Anthony. Some girl supposedly ran a mile in 18 minutes, so they called me into the living room to see how someone could run a mile so unbelievably slow. We got furious, claiming "It's impossible to be that slow." So we all piled into my truck (literally, its a two seater, bucket chairs) and drove to the high school track down the road. Yes, it's possible to run the mile slower than 18 minutes because, as of now, my mile is at... 12 hours or so. We all stopped after running a half mile in a little over 4 minutes, which has inspired me to go running tomorrow. Maybe by the end of summer I won't have to use the excuse that it was 90 degrees out when I attempted my mile-long run. Also, I wore black when I ran.
