So this is turning into my work blog. I just decided this. We'll see if it works.

FYI I work as the Building Coordinator of the Student Union at a small campus of a large university. What does this mean? A lot of things. I help students, I advocate for students through programs and events in the building, and I maintain the Union overall.

I was going through my notes for my monthly report to my supervisor and found I had dictated the following quotes:

"They gobbled it up like gangbusters." It's a quote from our dean of students on this campus. I don't know what it refers to, but it sounds wrong.

"Is there a student union here?" A young lady came into the giant building labeled STUDENT UNION and proceeded to ask this question. I responded: "Yes. You're in it." "Yeah but where is it? This whole place?" Before I could laugh at her, I asked her what she was looking for specifically and helped her find her way.

So I have a bunch of crazy and read-worthy stories that I will be posting in the future (as they occur).
