Pray for nice weather!
My friends in Portland and Chicago are snowed in. What a crappy time, just before the holidays (not to mention my wedding), to have delayed flights. I'm praying for nice weather--not just for my friends but for all of the people who want to be home for the holidays.
I was going to post about a very disturbing and depressing topic (oops I still did), but really, before I get swept up into an overwhelming Christmas, a wedding, a honeymoon, and New Year's all wrapped up into one, I just want to say that I'm very grateful for all of my friends and family.
As a religious person, I always see this season as one of peace and promise. With this new year comes a new president, a new life for myself and my wife, and a new beginning for all of us. Thank God for the ability to hope and to pray for one another. I'm gonna have you all in my heart this week.
Merry Christmas, all.
